Fred Zhou joined MGM Hospitality in 2007 as Senior VP & Chief Representative to China. He also serves as Deputy General Manager of Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality. Fred Zhou is responsible for the company overall business in China.
With more than 20-year experience in the public and private sectors, Mr. Zhou has broad experience in architectural design/planning, real estate development, construction management, finance/due diligence and technology and infrastructure planning. Prior to joining MGM Hospitality, Mr. Zhou worked for Trizec Properties, the second largest REIT in US, as an Executive Director of National Operations. In that capacity, Mr. Zhou was in charge of initiatives at corporate level and streamlined the company business activities across the US. Mr. Zhou was a key member of the team that conducted the $1.6-billion acquisition of Arden Properties in 2005 and the $9-billion merger between Blackstone and Trizec Properties in 2006.
Mr. Zhou earned Master Degree in City & Regional Planning from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and further studied in MBA program at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jinkang Zhu, a Senior Engineer and graduate from Tongji University (TJU), joined Thaihot Group in 2006 and is now Vice President of Commerce Real Estate & Hotels. In this role, Jinkang has led Thaihot to successfully develop a unique boutique commercial operation model through a variety of initiatives such as the intricately-forged Thaihot Plaza Brand, a high-end commercial trend-setter in China. In addition, there are a myriad of commercial property projects represented by Thaihot Plaza located on the East Second Ring Road of Fuzhou, a potential milestone in the Group’s asset-light strategy.

Ms. Lily Zhu is an expert in the hospitality industry and in high-end property management. Lily has served in China’s luxury hotel business for over twenty years, taking management roles at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse (Beijing), Jingguang Centre (Beijing), Zhejiang World Trade Centre Grand Hotel (Hangzhou), Resort Golden Palm (Sanya) and Resort Intime (Sanya). Due to her excellences in career, Lily continuously received awards and honours from both within and out of the industry. She is now a member of National Tourism Administration Appraisal Committee of Tourism Hotel Star-rating.
Lily holds a BA degree in Economics from Zhejiang University and obtains EMBA degree from the renowned Tsinghua University.
Lily joined Beijing Yintai Property Co., Ltd. in 2006 since when she took her current position, taking full responsibility of the operation management of Beijing Yintai Centre. She has taken up the post of General Manager of Beijing Yintai Property Co., Ltd since 2006. Beijing Yintai Centre is a high-end commercial property at the core area of Beijing CBD district. It accommodates Park Hyatt Beijing the luxury boutique hotel, Park Hyatt Penthouses and Park Hyatt Residence, Yintai Office Tower and Park Life the luxury retails centre. Lily and her team have made Beijing Yintai Centre a new landmark of Beijing and along its most prestigious Chang’an Avenue. Then Lily became the Vice President of China Yintai Holdings Co., Ltd in 2013,taking charge of administration, HR, legal affairs and brand management.
During the recent years, Lily has been in charge of the hotel section of Yintai Group. On behalf of the owner, she works with several of the world leading hotel (brand) management companies on projects located in several Chinese cities, from project design to operation. Under her leadership, three hotels (Park Hyatt Beijing, Park Hyatt Ningbo and Andaz Shanghai) have opened and rapidly achieved market recognition. She brought about the cooperation between Yintai and Hilton Worldwide in 2012 on Waldorf Astoria Chengdu while several others are currently under preparation.
Lily joined Hyatt Officially from March 2nd, 2015 as Vice President – Operation China. Her abundant unique experience in hospitality industry will be a great help to Hyatt for the future challenges and opportunities.

Mr. Michael Zhu is the VP of IT at Interstate China hotels and resorts, ever worked as GM of IT at Wanda hotels and resorts, VP at LTP management consulting company, as well as CIO at Jinling hotel group. He has also been responsible for IT management and 6 sigma process innovation at Starwood. He has more than 20 years’ experience in IT-based innovations of business model, business process, distribution channels, etc.
Mr. Zhu is the sponsor of ITValue Association, columnist of TravelDaily, visiting scholar of Purdue University, lecturer of MTA courses of Nankai University. Ever rewarded as TOP CIO in China in 2007 by IDC & CEOCIO magazine. Mr. zhu holds a bachelor degree from Beijing Institute of Technology and a MBA degree of Nanjing University.
R&F Hotel Management Co.
A graduate from Sun Yat-Sen University, Tracy ZHU started her career in the hotel industry in early 1990’s. She joined R&F Properties in 2008 as the Deputy General Manager of the R&F Hotel Management Co, responsible for the Group’s hotel business from project planning and design, negotiation of management agreements, preparation of hotel opening, to asset management of operating hotels. With the strategic partnership with major international hotel companies, R&F currently owns 13 hotel properties including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residence Guangzhou, The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, Park Hyatt Guangzhou, Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, Hyatt Regency Chongqing, Renaissance Beijing Capital, Renaissance Huizhou, InterContinental Resort Huizhou, Holiday Inn Guangzhou Airport Zone, Holiday Inn Chongqing University Town, Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven, Double Tree by Hilton Hainan-Chengmai, and, Pullman Taiyuan. R&F is planning to open over 20 hotels in the first and second tier cities of China within the coming 5 years, including The Ritz-Carlton Harbin, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Conrad Guangzhou, Grand Hyatt Tianjin, etc.
Yichen is a Consultant based in Horwath HTL Beijing office. She graduated from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, where she received a Bachelor with Honors in International Hospitality Management. Yichen has done many feasibility studies and market researches in various domestic cities, including key markets like Sanya and Beijing, since she joined Horwath in 2013. Furthermore, she also participated in a number of LOI review and MA negotiation projects, as well as asset management projects. Before joining Horwath, Yichen had internship experiences in Starwood Greater China regional office, Hotel Elite in Lausanne Switzerland and the Aberdeen Marina Club Hong Kong.
