Ms. Sandy Luo is an Assistant Director of Horwath HTL Shanghai with over 10 years experience in the hotel, tourism and leisure industry. She has completed or supervised more than 100 hotel, resort and serviced apartment projects, as well as numerious tourism master plans, with project location covering all the major cities and resort destinations in China. She has been specialized in market and financial feasibility studies, hotel investment analysis, and tourism master planning, while also working across a spectrum of projects in hotel valuation and hotel management contract negotiation. Over the recent two years, Ms. Luo has particularly demonstrated her expertise in hotel assest management, based on her rich experience in hotel market, operation, finance and investment analysis, which includes providing in-depth diagnostics and tailor-made solution packages to various hotels in different stages of their life cycle, or delivering strategic advisory services regarding business or brand development for major hotel owners or management companies. In addition, Ms. Luo has been devoting herself in several influential research projects, with topics such as “the integation of hotel and retail functions”, “the development of countryside inns in China”, etc., while she has also been invited to several major indsutry forums/events as a guest speaker.
Ms. Luo holds both a degree in Economics and a degree in International Relations from Peking University. Prior to joining Horwath in 2008, Ms. Luo worked in DTZ Hospitality Consultancy Beijing for two years with responsibilities in market research and business development.

Kenneth was appointed Chief Executive, Greater China in January 2013 and become a member of the Executive Committee on joining the Group in April 2013.
Responsible for the management, growth and profitability of IHG’s fastest growing region, which includes mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan, Kenneth manages a portfolio of over 200 hotels in operation, and oversees the development of another 180 hotels in the pipeline.
Kenneth joined IHG from Diageo, one of the UK’s leading branded companies, where he worked for over 20 years. As a result, Kenneth has extensive management experience, with a background in sales, marketing strategy, business development, and operations. Kenneth also brings to IHG substantial knowledge and expertise in Chinese and international business operations.
Kenneth has held senior management positions with Diageo, including serving as Managing Director of Diageo Greater China. Prior to being based in China in 2005, Kenneth led the development of Diageo’s China strategy. He has also served as the Commercial Director of Diageo Asia Venture in Singapore, where he was responsible for commercial and brand strategy, as well as sales and marketing, and new brand development. Having worked in Singapore, the UK and South Africa, Kenneth is a highly experienced international executive with in-depth knowledge of business environments spanning three continents, and an ideal addition to IHG’s China team.
In 2009, Kenneth received the Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award for expatriates for his outstanding contribution to the city’s social and economic development.
Kenneth received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Bristol in the UK and speaks fluent French.
Christine McGinnis joins Wimberly Interiors as Studio Director in Singapore. Christine is responsible for the development, strategic and overall performance of Wimberly Interior’s Singapore studio projects as well as continuing to build client relationships within the region and abroad. Bringing a diverse set of experience to the team, her knowledge and background will bring the Wimberly Interiors brand to new heights. Leading a team of talented design staff, Christine is focused on growing the Wimberly Interiors presence throughout Southeast Asia, China and the sub-continent of India.
Prior to joining Wimberly Interiors, Christine was the Managing Director of AvroKO’s Bangkok office, establishing their Asian market presence and solidifying the firms brand throughout Asia Pacific. Before AvroKO she was with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where she began as a member of the Westin design team, translating new brand positioning around “Renewal” into memorable design expressions and global guidelines. Following her work on the Westin brand and design positioning she guided the design efforts in the launch of Starwood’s first eco-friendly brand Element Hotels. Successfully advancing to the Global Brand team for Select Serve brands, she shaped the creative direction for both Aloft and Element Hotels. Rounding out her tenure at Starwood, Christine returned to the Global Brand Design group providing direction for luxury brands St. Regis and The Luxury Collection.
