Mr. Wang was the founding member and executive vice president of HuaZhu Hotels Group as well as the founding member of Home Inns Group. He is among the first batch of trainees of Hupan University. Before joining Ping An Trust, she worked for Mai Fund as Vice Preseident, in charge of acquqsition and asset management. Sarah joined Artyzen Hospitality Group in 2016 following time spent with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, where she was responsible for the marketing and brand development activities in China and Asia for the brands. Wang Shu is a director of Horwath HTL and based in Beijing office. He joined Horwath in 2007 and has worked on over hundreds of hotel studies in his career, including hotel market research, feasibility study, hotel renovation strategy analysis and due diligence study in various cities of mainland China with abundant knowledge of China hotel market. As the owner’s representative, he also joined a series of hotel operator selection, LOI review and MA negotiation assignments. Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, China
Wang Wei is the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, China for FRHI, the parent company of luxury and upper upscale hotel brands Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts. She is based in the FRHI Shanghai office, and leads the strategic management of the Sales and Marketing function across FRHI’s China portfolio of hotels.
Before joining FRHI Hotels & Resorts in 2015, she had held positions as Regional Director of Sales Operation after being the head of Revenue Management APAC for two years at the Hyatt Hotels Corporation APAC office in Hong Kong. Wang has in total spent 13 years on Revenue Management, on properties and at regional level, both in China and overseas. She commenced her first role on Revenue Management back in 2000 at the St. Regis Beijing, then further developed her skill and experience in this field with Hyatt and IHG. She was the first Senior Consultant in the IDeaS consulting team in Asia Pacific in year 2008.
A seasoned professional and all-rounder, Wang brings nearly 20 years’ of experience in the hospitality industry and has a very solid understanding in hotel Revenue Management, Pricing, Distribution and Marketing disciplines
Li Wen has been working as a project director of Horwath HTL based in the Beijing office for over five years. She is particularly experienced in destination development and has led a number of projects in Changbaishan, Jiuzhaigou, Daocheng Yading, Nanxun, Qingdao, and Chongli. Her experience in feasibility studies expands from city center or outskirt business hotels to different types of resorts by the beach or in the mountains, and ranges from selected service hotels, large convention hotels, to luxury boutique hotels. She has also demonstrated her knowledge through projects on brand development strategy, renovations, and management contract negotiation.
Prior to joining Horwath, Ms. Wen had worked at the revenue cluster office of Marriott International that oversaw the Beijing/Tianjin market and Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa, Florida, US, in hotel operations. She holds a Bachelor degree in English from Renmin University of China and a Master degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from University of Missouri, US.

Gina has joined IHG Development since 2005. She is currently responsible for the development of IHG’s brands in Greater China, e.g. InterContinental, HUALUXE, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express. Gina was awarded “Developer of The Year 2014” by IHG for her outstanding performance and contribution to the company’s growth strategy.
Prior to joining IHG Development, Gina worked for three IHG hotel properties and had over five years work experience in Hotel Operations from international chain hotels.
Gina was a MBA graduate from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Switzerland in 2005.
Liya Wu is working in Horwath HTL Hong Kong office as a senior consultant since 2011. After graduating from the Hotel and Tourism Management School in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ms. Wu further pursued a degree in Masters in Management in London Business School. Prior to joining Horwath HTL, Ms. Wu has also worked in various operational departments in Four Seasons Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland and beach resort in South Carolina USA as her internship.
